Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Area Supervisor to support the Cluster Account Manager and Training Account Manager in the day-to-day operational management of multiple Data Centre sites. This role is central to ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining high security standards, coordinating training activities, and providing strong leadership to security teams across the cluster.
You will act as the operational link between management and site teams, ensuring consistency, compliance, and exceptional service across all locations.
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to)
- Support the Cluster Account Manager with daily operational oversight across multiple sites.
- Assist the Training Account Manager with planning, coordinating, and delivering training activities.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance support to security officers.
- Conduct site visits, audits, and compliance checks.
- Manage administrative tasks including reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and client requirements.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and escalations.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, site teams, and management.
- Work shift patterns, including nights, as required operationally.
- Participate in regular out-of-hours emergency on-call duties.
Essential Requirements
- Valid PSA Licence
- Security experience, ideally at a supervisory level
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle (multi-site travel required)
- Administrative experience with strong organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills, with the ability to work confidently across multiple systems and programs
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support security officers
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, including nights
- Willingness to undertake regular on-call responsibilities
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous Data Centre security experience
- Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Train the Trainer qualification (or willingness to obtain)
