Rob has been working for ICTS Ireland at Dublin Airport since 2001 and is now our Duty Manager at the airport.
“When I first started at ICTS, young and straight out of school, I enjoyed working down the baggage hall as a security agent. After a year I became a Team Leader and proved quite successful at it: when ICTS grew, I did as well.”
When ICTS was awarded the Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) contact at Dublin Airport, Rob was promoted to Supervisor and got to know everything about HBS, work with our clients and carry out many important audits. In 2014 Rob was promoted to Duty Manger, overseeing the whole ICTS operation at Dublin Airport.
“Over the years I’ve been here, there has been a massive increase in business. When I first started, there were only two airlines with two flights per day that ICTS was providing security services to. During peak season we now secure over twenty flights a day for multiple airlines proving passport checks, aircraft searches, observations of baggage in the baggage hall, search catering trolleys etc.”
When asked what Rob enjoys most about his job, he replies “one day is never the same and I enjoy the fast-paced work environment and working with our clients”.
